Requirements

Step 1: Wiring the Circuit

First, let’s wire the circuit on the breadboard. Connect the components as follows:

 

Transmitter (ESP8266 with button):
  1. Connect the push button to (D5) and GND.
  2. Connect a 10k-Ohm resistor between (D5) and 3.3V (pull-up resistor).
Receiver (ESP8266 with LED):
  1. Connect the LED’s anode (longer leg) to (D3) through a 220-Ohm resistor.
  2. Connect the LED’s cathode (shorter leg) to GND.

 

 

Step 2: Setting Up the Arduino IDE

  1. Open the Arduino IDE.
